The Warrior’s Heart

The companion app — open it right here.

A 31-day devotional and journal that goes where the book stops. One reflection question and one action step every day, in your hand, with somewhere to put what God does in you.

The real app is running in the frame below — not a video, not a set of screenshots. Tap through it exactly as a reader would. Everything you see works, and nothing you type into it is saved to anyone’s account, so explore freely. The walkthrough beside it takes you screen by screen.

Scroll inside the frame to move around. Open it full screen — or on your phone, where it is built to live.

How to use it, screen by screen

About ten minutes end to end. Follow along in the frame as you read.

Home

The greeting says Welcome the first time and Welcome back after that. Three things to find here:

  • The Personal / Group toggle at the top. The same 31 days either way — Group mode reframes the daily language into weekly session language for people walking through it together.
  • Four quick-action cards — Reflection, Prayers & Praises, Group updates, Scripture memory. One tap to the thing you came to do.
  • From the author. Tap the card and a voice message from Dr. Davis plays. Your progress bar sits just above it.

The avatar in the top right goes straight to your Profile. The EN / ES buttons switch the whole app between English and Spanish.

Study — the heart of it

Pick Day 1 from the day picker. Each day gives you a verse, two devotion paragraphs, and a prayer prompt, in that order.

Try this one. Select a sentence in the devotion text, the way you would in any app. A Highlight & note button appears right above it. Tap it, type a line, save. The phrase turns gold in the text and the note lands in your Journal — the margin of the page, except it keeps what you wrote.

Scroll on to Personal reflection and Action step. Both autosave as drafts while you type; Save to journal files them under the day.

3

Journal

One day at a time on purpose — it is easier to sit with a single day than to skim past all of them. Use the arrows or the day chips to move around.

Everything carries a date stamp, so six months from now you will know exactly which day you wrote it. Download, Print and Send take the whole journal or just one day, and the export comes out as a designed document that opens straight into Word, Pages or Google Docs if you want to keep working on it.

4

Scripture memory

From Home, tap the Scripture memory card. It is built as a game rather than a drill: each pass hides another key word in the verse, up to eight levels, skipping filler like a and the. Tap a blank, type the word, and it jumps you to the next one. Finish the verse and you will see why it is worth finishing.

5

Connect

This is the part that makes it a group study rather than a solo app.

  • Direct from the author — a voice message, plus Join session.
  • Send a prayer request — and you choose: private to the author, or shared with your group.
  • Upcoming session — RSVP with “I’m in”, add it to your calendar, and tap an initial in the attendee row to see who is already coming.
  • Group updates, group chat and the community feed — open a reply thread and you will find it works, not a picture of one.

Profile & Settings

Your stats live here — days read, percent complete, entries written. My Library shows what you are reading now and, below it, your bookcase: all three books of The Warrior’s Way — The Wind, The Forge and The Target.

The gear icon opens Settings: text size, notifications, billing and promo codes, Legal & Credits (where the Bible translation permissions live), and Invite a friend, which opens your phone’s own share sheet.

Questions people ask

Is this the real app, or a preview?

A working preview. The features are real and they function — this is not the finished production app, and it is honest about that.

Who can see my journal and my prayer requests?

Reflections and personal notes are private. Prayer requests are your choice, every time: private to the author, or shared with your group.

Does it replace the book?

No. It is what happens after you close the book — so what God does in you on Day 3 does not get lost by Day 10.

What will it cost?

The plan is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription. Pricing is not final, and nothing is for sale yet.

When can I have it on my phone?

It is in beta now, with real testers in it. The launch date is not locked.

One purchase. Not another subscription.

The Warrior’s Heart is planned as a single one-time purchase — pay once, keep it, nothing renews. We are in beta now, with real testers already using it. If you want in, or you have something to tell me about what you just used, I want to hear it.

Works offline once it is open; Send, Invite a friend and the Explore books link need a connection. English and Spanish. ALTM Publishing™, a division of TLTM™ LLC.
